| With a population just over 1,000, Rochester is located between Waterford and Burlington just west of Highway 36. Known for its quaint shops, low taxes, and Ela Apple Orchard, Rochester has maintained its rural feel, although located only 35-40 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Also nearby (just 10 minutes to the west) is the Alpine Valley Ski Resort, which, besides skiing, is known for its rock concerts which draw tens of thousands of fans during the summer months. |
