| Jay and I camp at Bar Harbor KOA, we have a 40 foot motor home and our camp site is right on the waters edge on Western Bay...perfect location. We kayak so we can just put our kayaks in from our camp site and paddle away. There are shuttle buses that take you to down town Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Lobsters and Steamers can be bought directly from the fisherman..fresh daily right off the boat. Want to explore the Island? You'll be kept busy for several days. Bar Harbor boasts something for everyone...from fine dining to mountain hiking. Swimming, golfing,bike riding, horse and buggy rides all yours to enjoy. |
